The Manic Street Preachers frontman once revealed he had been a Forest fan since the 1970s. And it was all down to a certain family member of his.
"One of my uncles used to love Brian Clough, as a player at Middlesborough, as a manager at Derby and of course when he went to Nottingham," Bradfield told NottinghamshireLive.
"I was just about getting old enough to start wanting to support a football team and he convinced me to support Forest. And it was just about the right time - 1978.
"But then I got stuck with Forest for life but I like the fact that there’s a penance for supporting a team that won the European Cup twice when I was young."
The Manics have been delighting festival fans for decades, they have appeared multiple times at Glastonbury.
The Nottingham-born cricketer has also been a lifelong Forest fan. He also lives just a few hundred metres from the City Ground. Broad who has played for Nottinghamshire since 2008, has previously shared a photo of him wearing a classic edition of the Forest kit alongside his sister, Gemma.
The former number one golfer, born in Worksop (Nottingham) is also known for being a big Reds fan. He has used his Twitter page to comment about Forest on many occasions.
