Friends plan birthday kitty for former TGC captain, Laniyan

Golfers and members of the Tiger Golf Club plan to hold a golf kitty to celebrate the 60th birthday of former captain of the club, Muyiwa Laniyan.
The Kitty has been scheduled for January 13 and 14, 2023 at the lush green 18-hole golf course inside Adekunle Fajuyi Military Cantonment, Odogbo Barracks, Ojoo, Ibadan.
Speaking ahead of the event, a member of the planning committee, Otunba Bayo Ojo Fiwajoye, said they would not spare any expense in celebrating the former captain.
He said: “Muyiwa Laniyan is a generous and honest person, who has done so much to the development of this great club… nothing is too much to do in celebrating him.
“Playing a golf kitty to celebrate one another has proved to be an interesting way of appreciating a golfer because golf keeps one fit, it is all about walking and when you walk, you sweat and gives you a lot of mental energy.”
