Free Lego up for grabs as Manchester's store celebrates 10-year milestone this weekend

Free Lego gifts will be up for grabs at the Lego Store in Manchester this weekend as it celebrates its 10-year anniversary.

To mark the special milestone, the Manchester Arndale store is holding what it describes as 'some unmissable events' which will take place this weekend, July 2 and 3.

The plan is to entertain families as soon as they enter the store, from 'jaw-dropping magicians and a life-sized Lego character, to Insta-worthy photo opportunities and an exciting treasure hunt'.

You might want to head there early to really make the most of it - as the first 250 guests to arrive on either day will receive a goodie bag containing a Lego gift.

But even if you miss out on one of those, there's still lots of fun to be had.

On Saturday kids can get their faces painted 'Lego style' - with sessions 10am to noon, 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 7pm.

Then on Sunday they can make a free Lego build to take home. These Make & Take sessions are 11am to 1.30pm and 3pm to 5pm.

The store is located in the lower mall of Manchester Arndale, next to Lush and close to Exchange Court. It opens at 9am on Saturday and 11.30am on Sunday.
