Frankfurt ultras plot giant tifo for Rangers showdown that needs SEVEN trucks to transport it

Eintracht Frankfurt ultras are putting together a jaw-dropping tifo for the Europa League Final that is requiring seven trucks to transport it to the south of Spain.

The supporters of the Bundesliga club are renowned for being the most hardcore in Germany and have vowed to take the roof off the the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium – if it had one, report the Scottish Daily Express.

According to various outlets, there will be as many as 30,000 to 60,000 Eintracht Frankfurt fans in Seville – and more than 100,000 Scots supporters.

It has all been peaceful in the Andalusian capital so far and Spanish police have vowed they will cope with anything that comes their way.

But a Rangers insider told the earlier on Tuesday: "Police are more concerned about the Frankfurt fans than the Rangers fans.

"There's more than 100 identified high-risk category Frankfurt supporters going, and they're marching to the stadium, which creates a problem for ticketed fans and non ticketed fans.

"We are confident in UEFA and the police's operation, if it plays out as planned."

Publicly, Spanish police haven’t singled out either fanbase.

The country’s chief of police Juan Carlos Castro Estevez instead warned of the potential for 'serious problems' as the southern city of Seville braces itself for an expected invasion of in excess of 150,000 supporters of both clubs.

It's too many people with too much alcohol, the majority without tickets for the game and lots of construction sites around the city, a recipe that could lead to serious problems.

"We are trying to do everything right and we have a lot of experience with situations like this, although that does not mean that there will be no problems.

We will host two fanbases that drink a lot.
