Four-vehicle crash causes heavy traffic on A4232 into Cardiff - live

There is heavy traffic on the A4232 near Cardiff after reports of a four-vehicle crash. Google traffic shows heavy traffic on the busy link road from Junction 32 at the M4 all the way through to Leckwith slip road.

An eyewitness said the crash had happened by 7.43am and was already causing problems on the road. The traffic seems to be focused around the eastbound carriageway.

Traffic monitoring system INRIX is also reporting that there is a broken down vehicle on the westbound carriageway causing problems.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "Police were called shortly before 7.00am following a report of a four vehicle road traffic collision on the outbound carriageway of the A4232. There are no reports of injuries and the vehicles have been removed."
