Four players who could leave Manchester United before transfer window closes

Manchester United are aware that there's work still to be done in the transfer window.

Spirits are high at Carrington after a win over bitter rivals Liverpool and a gritty victory over Southampton but United can't rest on their laurels when it comes to rebuilding their squad.

United have brought in four players so far this summer, with Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro the latest acquisition.

They are soon set to be joined by Antony from Ajax but fans will hope he's not the final arrival through the door.

For that to happen though, players will almost certainly have to leave the club. Here are four players who we can expect to be targeted, and those who United could agree to sell to make way for incomings:

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Signed for £50 million three years ago by OIe Gunnar Solskjaer, United fans had high hopes for the defensive-minded full-back. However, he's not been able to make the step up from Crystal Palace level to that of a United standard, and has largely struggled to make an impact.

Now second choice right-back, United will look to move him on with his former club said to be interested.

United could be forced to sell the 24-year-old for just £10 million.

Phil Jones

Playing in just six games in his last four seasons at Old Trafford, Jones' time at Old Trafford was up long ago. However no move has materialised.

Way down the pecking order in the defensive unit, Jones will hope to secure a move that will see him able to kickstart his career after several disappointing seasons.
