How the 19 players that left Manchester United in the summer transfer window are faring

It ended up being a very busy summer for Manchester United.

Things went painfully slow throughout June and it started to look like they had botched the window, but United eventually managed to sign Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka to significantly improve their squad in a massive outlay of £216million for the six players.

But it wasn't just the signings that made it such a hectic summer as plenty of players headed in the other direction as well. In fact, 19 of them left Old Trafford this past summer either permanently or on loan. Here's how they're doing so far this season.

Pogba's six-year second spell at United ended in fittingly underwhelming fashion after he went off injured in his final game after just 10 minutes against Liverpool in April. Upon the expiration of his contract, the Frenchman decided to return to another former stomping ground by signing a four-year deal with Juventus.

However, he is yet to make his second debut for the Old Lady as he suffered a meniscal injury just two weeks after signing in training and is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines and is a doubt for the World Cup.

Cavani is another man yet to play a game this season though it's due to only recently finding a club. Despite officially being a free agent since July 1, Cavani only secured a move to Spanish side Valencia very late into August. The veteran striker has been in training and could make his debut on Saturday against Celta Vigo.
