Formula One Drive To Survive Season Four Release Date Announced

Drive to Survive is back for season four and the series, which will include the title race between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, has a release date for Netflix.

Millions tuned in for the final race of the season as both men started in Abu Dhabi on level points, knowing whoever won the race would take the driver's championship.

Now fans are going to get the chance to relive it all once again in Drive to Survive season four, which will be out on Netflix on March 11th.

The loss for Hamilton, which denied him of a record breaking eighth drivers' title, led to rumours that he may not even drive in the 2022 season.

On Wednesday afternoon there was finally official news from the German team, as they posted a picture of their number one driver with the caption 'Year 16.'

Whilst Mercedes and Red Bull will likely feature heavily in this year's Drive to Survive, the two main protagonists for the title don't tend to take part in the show all too much.

Instead the battle amongst the midfield teams will get yet more air time, and Daniel Ricciardo's victory in Italy, the only win from a team outside of the top two teams last year, will probably feature.

The McLaren driver landed the team's first win since Brazil 2012, and was also the only 1-2 for a team all season, even beating the Mercs and Red Bulls.

Lando Norris' near miss at his first victory in Russia, just one week after coming second to Ricciardo in Italy, will also be one hell of a story, after the young British driver led until two laps to go when heavy rain derailed him.

The 2022 F1 season kicks off just nine days after Drive to Survive drops, in Bahrain on March 20th, and its sure to be another cracker.
