Formula E: Jake Dennis aiming to end season on a high at Seoul E-Prix

Avalanche Andretti driver Jake Dennis is aiming to end the Formula E season with a flourish this weekend in South Korea.

The all-electric series is in Seoul for the first time in its eight-year history, as we play out the final two races in order to crown this season’s world champion.

Stoffel Vandoorne is the man in the pound seats to win the championship, too, after a hugely consistent year but, arguably, if you want another form man as a potential pick for victory this weekend, you need look no further than Dennis.

The Avalanche Andretti driver cannot win the title this weekend but that means the shackles are off and after a fine performance at the London E-Prix where he took a win and a second place over the two races, he’s looking to finish the year on a high.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dennis said:

“Seoul is one of the race locations I’ve been really looking forward to this year. The weather in the capital is looking a little tricky so we’re hoping it settles down so we can put on a good season finale.

“I’m looking forward to trying to keep the momentum up from London and build upon what we’ve managed to achieve throughout the last five to six rounds scoring some more strong points. The whole team is focused on the Team Championship and trying to end the season as well as we can in the last two rounds.”

Dennis may almost feel as though it would be great if the season could go on for a few more weeks given the form he is in, but ultimately there are two races left for each driver to make an impact.

With the weather looking very unpredictable this weekend, too, we could be in for a thrilling finale to season 8.
