Former world champion reveals Jake Paul and Conor McGregor demand for mega-fight
Former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch says he would only watch a potential bout between Conor McGregor and Jake Paul if it was in MMA.
Influencer Paul, 27, extended his professional record to 11-1-0 last weekend as he defeated former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, 58, by unanimous decision at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.
Earlier this week, Most Valuable Promotions claimed that the bout - co-headlined by Katie Taylor's narrow defeat of Amanda Serrano - had the biggest gate (£14.3m) of any boxing or MMA event in American history to be staged outside of Las Vegas.

And with so many eyes on Paul whenever he steps into the ring, the 27-year-old has been "called out" by heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois and light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev over recent days.
Meanwhile, former two-weight UFC champion, McGregor, who has not fought in nearly four years, has also been rumoured as a potential future opponent for Paul.
However, Froch admits he would only watch a possible fight between Paul and the Irishman if it came in an MMA octagon rather than a boxing ring.
"If it's in a boxing ring, it's a gimmick fight because that's a fight where you've got Jake Paul and Conor McGregor, a legend in the MMA world. If that fight was in the cage, you would tune in to watch Jake Paul get his leg snapped in half or get in a chokehold and watch him tap out," Froch told Action Network.
"But if you put him in a boxing ring, it's probably a fight Jake Paul wins, dare I say. McGregor can't box but it's not a fight that's any good.
