Former UFC champion Jan Blachowicz calls for a title shot after defeating Aleksandr Rakic

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz wants to get his old belt back.

The Polish MMA fighter captured the vacant 205lbs title with a brutal knockout of American Dominick Reyes at UFC 253 on Fight Island in September 2020.

But he lost the belt in dramatic fashion at the hands of 42-year-old Glover Teixeira at UFC 267 last October, losing by rear-naked choke in the second round.

Blachowicz, 39, got himself back into the win column with a third-round TKO victory over Aleksandr Rakic, 30, who suffered a nasty knee injury after attempting to check a leg kick.

And Blachowicz, who is currently enjoying a vacation with his family, hopes to be there as well.

Blachowicz added: “I’ve never been to Singapore so why not?

“I like travelling, I like being in new places, so if they invite me I will go
