Former Sheppey United goalkeeper Aiden Prall on being named in the Isthmian South East team of the season and reflecting on his time with the Ites
Aiden Prall says being named in the Isthmian South East team of the season is a nice way to finish his time at Sheppey.
Goalkeeper Prall ended his three-year stay at Holm Park by joining league champions Ramsgate last month.
But his efforts in his final campaign with the Ites were recognised at the weekend when he featured in the team of the season.
The team, voted for by all the managers, was revealed at the league dinner on Saturday night.
“I had an unbelievable time at Sheppey,” said Prall, 26.

“It was a nice accomplishment to finish the season on and it gives you a little boost going into next year.
“It means a lot that it’s voted for by the managers.
“It’s not just a few people picking a select few players that they’ve seen over the season.
“There are cases where you don’t see everyone or you might see someone on an off-day.
“But if you go through every single team, every manager, you’ve got to have had a decent level of consistency to have impressed x amount of people to put you in that team.
“So it definitely meant a lot and I appreciate the recognition the managers and the clubs have given me.”
Prall joined Sheppey in the summer of 2022 with the club newly promoted to Isthmian South East after landing a historic quadruple in
