Former Proteas star Lance Klusener rejoins Zimbabwe's coaching staff

The appointment was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Cricket board during a meeting held on Monday.

Zimbabwe Cricket said on its official website that Klusener is taking over from Stuart Matsikenyeri, who moves into the position of assistant coach, while Lalchand Rajput remains in charge as head coach.

Zimbabwe Cricket added that it was in the process of finalising the appointment of a bowling coach and a fitness trainer for the men's national team.

Meanwhile, Craig Irvine has also been confirmed as Zimbabwe's full-time ODI and T20I captain.

Ervine has been entrusted with the full-time responsibility after leading the national team for the limited-overs tours to Ireland, Scotland and Sri Lanka as interim skipper.

Sean Williams has been retained as Test captain.
