Former Manchester United player 'open' to joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia

Former Manchester United player Wilfried Zaha is reportedly 'considering' interest from as many as three clubs in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Nassr, whom Cristiano Ronaldo now plays for since leaving Old Trafford.

Zaha, 30, made just four appearances for United during a single season at the club back in 2013. Since returning to Crystal Palace, the Ivory Coast international has now played a combined 450 matches for the club on either side of that stint at Old Trafford.

The winger's current nine-year association with the clubs seems set to end this summer, though, with the player out of contract and reportedly 'rejecting multiple offers' to stay at Selhurst Park. If no extension is signed, then the player will be able to leave on a free transfer ahead of the start of next season.

The Evening Standard claim that there is 'serious interest' from Italian giants AC Milan as Palace 'increasingly fear' the player will leave. Those fears appear well-founded as Al-Nassr are 'one of three Saudi clubs to have sounded out' signing the player this summer, with Zaha said to be 'open to the idea' of following in the footsteps of Ronaldo.

Several of the Portugal international's former teammates and rivals have been linked with making a move to the Kingdom during the summer transfer window. Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Sergio Busquets - who is also a free agent this summer - are just three to have been linked since the player's move, while Lionel Messi could also become an option due to his existing relationship with the country if the player decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
