Former ITV Coronation Street star Faye Brookes looks stunning in beach bikini snaps months after split

Faye Brookes looked worlds away from her time on the Coronation Street cobbles as she basked in the sunshine on a recent break. The actress, who starred as Kate Connor in the ITV soap, looked stunning in a simple black bikini as she posed on the white sandy beaches in Thailand.

She kept her followers updated on her sun-soaked break which came just a couple of months after she suffered heartbreak when she split from her partner Joe Davies.

Faye, 35, showed off her incredible figure in the two-piece swimwear as she stood in the crystal clear water. The brunette beauty stood with her back to the camera as she gazed across the blue water out to the clear skies while staying at the five-star Aleenta Phuket resort.

"Beach please," she captioned the video which showed a string of snaps of her posing, fresh-faced on the beach. Faye's trip comes after her split for Joe after almost three years together. The former soap star revealed the sad news on social media, telling fans that she will remain friends with the personal trainer following their "wonderful" times together. She also said they had decided to go their separate ways but said their friendship remains 'stonger than ever'.'

"Just wanted to say that, very sadly, after nearly three years Joe and I have decided to go our separate ways. We had the most wonderful of times, and our mutual respect, admiration and friendship remains stronger than ever," she tweeted.
