Former Hollyoaks star shares brilliant 'after' photo of ruined dress on her wedding day as she marries co-star

Newlywed Daisy Wood-Davis has shared a comical 'after' picture of her wedding dress after a red wine disaster on her big day. Daisy, who played Kim Butterfield in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, looked stunning as she married former co-star Luke Jerdy.

The couple's nearest and dearest flew out to Spain for the wedding, with guests including Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson who plays Nicky Wheatley in the soap. And actress Daisy, who had her bridal hair and makeup done by Manchester's House of Evelyn, was radiant in her white lace dress of her dreams.

But it appears that disaster later struck on the dancefloor as the bride celebrated saying 'I do' with Luke, who played Jesse Donovan. "The dress of my dreams. Swipe for before and after," Daisy invited followers on her Instagram.

And they gasped at the sight of her formerly pristine gown splattered in red wine. Nadine Mulkerrin, whose character Cleo McQueen recently left Hollyoaks village, told her: "When I saw you dancing with the red wine in the videos I thought oh my gosh noooo!! X"

Kirsty-Leigh Porter who plays Leela Lomax commented: "Brilliant." Kimberly Hart-Simpson said with laughing emojis: "The after." And former Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia told her: "Huge congratulations! You look stunning."
