Football League games re-fixed for next weekend
The five Allianz Football League games that were postponed as a result of the inclement weather conditions have been rescheduled for next weekend.
Fermanagh's meeting with Laois in Division 3 on 19 February, along with the clashes of Galway v Offaly in Division 2, Westmeath v Longford in Division 3 and the Division 4 ties involving Sligo v Cavan and Wexford v Tipperary on 20 February, all succumbed to the elements.
This coming weekend is a free slot in the football calendar, so the GAA are creating space to complete the Round 2 fixtures.
First up on Saturday next is the rescheduling of the two Division 3 encounters, with Westmeath hosting Longford at TEG Cusack Park at 2pm and Fermanagh welcoming Laois to Brewster Park at 3.30pm.
On Sunday, Galway and Offaly's Division 2 re-fixture is set for Pearse Stadium at 2pm. The bottom tier games, which both throw in at 2pm, see Sligo host Cavan at Markievicz Park and Wexford and Tipperary clashing at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
