Football fan kicked in the head as 'disorder' breaks out after play-off final
Police have issued pictures of men they want to identify after a football fan was kicked in the head following a play-off final.
'Disorder' broke out between some supporters after the North West Counties League play-off final between Wythenshawe Town and Bury FC at the Ericstan Park Stadium on May 4, police said. The chaotic scenes unfolded after the final whistle.
Afterwards, videos were shared on social media which appeared to show a male being kicked to the head as he was down on the ground. Officers are now investigating the assault.

Today (May 14) they released images of two men they want to identify in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises them, or who has any information, should contact Greater Manchester Police.
