'Follow Erik! - Jurrien Timber sent Manchester United transfer plea
A number of Manchester United supporters have pleaded with highly-rated Ajax defender Jurrien Timber to follow Erik ten Hag to Old Trafford this summer.
Ten Hag, 52, was installed as United's new manager last week, bringing an end to months of speculation. He will take charge ahead of the start of next season and will be tasked with trying to bring a feel-good factor back to the club.
This forthcoming summer promises to be United's biggest in recent years, with big changes needing to be made to the first-team squad as a matter of urgency. Big-name starts, including Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani, are set to leave the club when their contracts expire, paving the way for new additions.

A number of areas within the squad need to be bolstered this summer, with Ralf Rangnick, following the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool almost a fortnight ago, admitting that it would not be unrealistic for the Reds to target ten new additions this summer. Adding to the centre of midfield is set to be their top priority, but the defence is also in need of improvements, especially at right-back and centre-back.
With that in mind, a number of United supporters have identified versatile Ajax ace Timber as a person of interest. The youngster, who is only 20, has been excellent for the Dutch giants this season, racking up 40 appearances in all competitions.
Of his 40 outings this season, 35 of them have come at centre-back, but he has slotted in at right-back on five occasions, highlighting his versatility. He is considered as a star in the making and some United fans believe he could be the type of player that the club is in need of.
