Floyd Mayweather vs Money Kicks fight OFF as talks collapse over exhibition bout

Floyd Mayweather won't be facing YouTube star Money Kicks on February 20, Mirror Fighting understands.

The exhibition bout had been slated to take place atop the Burj Al Arab in Dubai but multiple sources have confirmed that talks have broken down.

Money Kicks, whose real name is Reshad Belhasa, is likely to accept another fight when Tam Khan's Social Knockout promotion returns later this year.

Mayweather still hopes to take part in an exhibition bout but no opponent has been confirmed.

He announced the event at a press conference on New Years Eve in Dubai, and refused to rule out Belhasa as a possible opponent before the 20-year-old social media sensation confirmed a deal was close.

It would have been Mayweather's third exhibition bout since retiring from professional boxing with a perfect 50-0 record, having already taken on Logan Paul and Tenshin Nasukawa.

He brutally stopped Nasukawa within a round of their bout on New Years' Eve in 2018, dropping the kickboxer three times before the fight was mercifully stopped.

But he was unable to get rid of YouTube star Paul when they met at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida last summer.

Paul, who only holds a record of 0-1 in the professional ranks, was able to use the allowed 35lb weight difference between the fighters to slow down and frustrate Mayweather.

And since it was an exhibition bout under different rules, no judges were scoring at ringside and the fight ended with no winner declared.

After that fight, Mayweather had said that he would likely not be returning to the ring, even for big money, low-risk exhibitions like Paul or Nasukawa.

But that only lasted six months before he was back on stage atop the Burj Al Arab talking about another boxing event to take place in
