Floyd Mayweather vs Mikuru Asakura: Money shows his speed in training

Floyd Mayweather is continuing his exhibition tour as he takes on Japanese mixed martial artist, Mikuru Asakura on the 25th of September at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

For those wanting to watch the fight in the UK, it’ll be an early start on Sunday morning, with the event starting at 4am BST.

Despite holding the tag as the GOAT of boxing in most people’s opinion, Mayweather still takes his exhibition bouts seriously, putting all the hard work in as he gears up for his return to the ring.

Despite not taking to the ring against Asakura just yet, Mayweather is already turning his attentions to his next adventures, with a fight lined up with Deji and then looking to take on Conor McGregor in a rematch which could see him return to a professional bout.

He ended his career with a bout against McGregor, retiring with an incredible 50-0 record before deciding to continue with exhibition bouts.

Mayweather has admitted that talks with McGregor are underway, but he hasn’t yet decided if he wants the fight to be a professional bout or whether it’ll be an exhibition fight.

Money has shared a video of him on the pads ahead of his fight this weekend, and at 45 years-old he still looks just as quick as ever, he really is superhuman when it comes to boxing.

Obviously they’re just exhibition bouts, but Mayweather clearly isn’t messing around when he steps in the ring still, making sure the fans that pay good money to watch get the best version of him.

Especially if he’s putting his undefeated record on the line again if he does opt for a professional rematch with Notorious, he’ll want to be in top condition to make sure he is prepared for whatever comes next for him.
