Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor 2? Money made huge offer to UFC star
Floyd Mayweather is keen to step foot in the ring once again with Conor McGregor and he has even made an offer of $157.9 million to get the Irishman back in the ring with him.
Apparently, the 50-0 boxing superstar believes the fight will be ‘easy work, easy money’ should McGregor accept the rematch.
First time out, Mayweather won his 50th professional bout to surpass Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 record to cement himself as the greatest of all time in many people’s eyes.
McGregor managed to compete for 10 rounds with Money before being defeated by technical knockout.
The Irishman is planning to return to the Octagon after over a year out following his broken leg, however he could change the cage for ropes should he accept this proposal.
It’s been five years since the first fight, but Mayweather is clearly serious about getting this rematch the green light.
Not only is he offering up a huge pay package, he has apparently hinted at an undercard matchup between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia.
An unnamed source has offered up the following information on the potential of a rematch between the pair: “Mayweather Promotions made Conor an offer of 150million euros ($157m) for the fight.
“Floyd has been training like he is thirty again – he is in really good shape. He’s telling people he wants to fight Conor because he considers it ‘easy work for easy money’.
“It’s looking like it could take place around March in the Middle East. There may even be a possible Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia fight on the same night.
“Floyd wants it to be the biggest night of boxing history with pay per views like never before.”
McGregor has been teasing a rematch on Instagram by sharing an image from the original fight with the caption ‘I accept’ before
