Floyd Mayweather has been urged by his uncle Jeff to pay Logan Paul for their exhibition fight last June after the YouTube star claimed he hadn't received full payment.
Mayweather fought in the second exhibition of his career last year against social media sensation Paul, with the fight having sold around one million pay-per-views. Paul hit out at Mayweather months after the bout claiming that he hadn't been paid in full for the fight which took place last June.
The boxing legend's uncle Jeff has admitted he doesn't know what is going on with the payment situation but expects it to be resolved in the coming months. “I mean, he [Logan Paul] should get paid," Mayweather's uncle Jeff told ‘Fred Talks Fighting’. "The fight’s been over, it’s been a while. So, I mean Logan do deserve to get paid. He was there.
“I don’t know what’s going on with that. So, I’m not really going to speak on it. That really has nothing to do with me." Mayweather's bout with Paul ended with no result and the YouTube star celebrated at the final bell after surviving the eight round distance.
Paul claimed his ring rival had not paid him properly for the fight, blasting him as a "rat" during a furious rant. The YouTuber later doubled down on his accusation
