Floyd Mayweather makes strange eggplant threat to RIZIN MMA star Mikuru Asakura
Floyd Mayweather made a rather strange comment in his latest attempt to intimidate Mikuru Asakura.
The boxing legend sent the Japanese MMA fighter a bizarre threat while speaking to the media after announcing their exhibition bout.
Mayweather, 45, will face Asakura, 30, in an exhibition match as part of the card for RIZIN 38 at Saitama Super Arena in Japan on September 8.
The pair confirmed the news at a press conference in Hawaii on Tuesday night.

And Mayweather raised a few eyebrows after he warned Asakura that ‘his stomach is going to swell up like an eggplant’ with a weird reference to the funny-shaped vegetable.
“Until you make money like I do stop talking,” he said at the press conference.
“Stop wearing dorky clothes and start wearing the TMT clothes which are much cooler than yours.
“I know it’s just an exhibition match but with a single punch I can guarantee you that his stomach is going to swell up like an eggplant.
“[Our punches] are as different as a jet plane and a fly, so I look forward to having a match against him.”
Referring to himself in the third person, Mayweather admitted that he doesn’t take the sport as seriously as he used to during his professional career.
But that doesn’t mean that he’s completely taking him lightly either as he revealed that he is still keeping himself in tip top shape.
“We don’t train as much when we were competing,” he added.
