Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao reuniting in conference was brutally awkward

Floyd Mayweather had a few words to say to his former opponent, Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather is set to return to the cage this weekend in an exhibition bout with Mikuru Asakura.

However, leading up to the bout, Mayweather encountered his former opponent, Pacquiao.

The two boxing icons went head to head back in 2015. Many said that the fight took place later than expected. On that night, Mayweather ran out a convincing winner, defeating Pacquiao on points.

Following his last fight against Conor McGregor, Mayweather has fought a few exhibition bouts which has earned him several big pay days.

Ahead of the showdown with Asakura, Mayweather was joined in Tokyo by Pacquiao who stated that he was there to support Asakura. There have been a few whispers that both Floyd and Manny will go head to head once again.

Floyd warned Manny that he would not have success a second time around if the pair were to face inside the ring again.

“There’s no blueprint on how to beat Floyd Mayweather, he can tell you that himself,” Mayweather said.

“He’s a Hall of Famer, but no-one has the blueprint on how to beat Floyd Mayweather. Don’t let them trick you into getting your ass whooped again.”

In response, Pacquiao said: “He’s older than me, I’m still young so… what I have done and accomplished in boxing is one of a kind.

“To win [world titles in] eight different weight divisions is not easy, I’m not trying to to boast about what I’ve accomplished in life; I’m just saying this in case you forget that. The best fighter in the world has a humility.”
