Floyd Mayweather has been labelled "jealous" after the ring legend organised his latest exhibition bout for the same date as his former protege takes to the ring.
Former five-weight world champion Mayweather will take on Don Moore on May 14 on a helipad at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. The 45-year-old was set to fight YouTube star Money Kicks in February but talks for that fight broke down.
News of the fight broke on the same day as Gervonta Davis ' press conference for his title fight with Rolly Romero, something that Davis - who is managed by Mayweather Promotions - wasn't happy with.
"Lol n**** had a press conference today and fight on same day," Davis wrote in a now-deleted tweet. "No matter how much money you have you can still be jealous of a mf! Boy".
Undefeated knockout artist Davis, who currently holds the WBA lightweight title, has been signed to Mayweather Promotions since 2015. 'Tank' is one of the biggest stars of the organisation and has been mentored by Mayweather for most of his professional career but his contract with the legend expires after his next bout which is actually on May 28.
