The Rugby League transfer window is now open, with clubs able to speak to out-of-contract players as they step up their preparations for next year. For all those sides yet to tie down their current crop of talent, negotiations become a little tougher as rivals begin to show their hand with tempting offers. Which is exactly what Hull KR can do in the coming weeks.

As much as everyone likes to look to the NRL for recruits, sometimes the best deals that are done are the ones between Super League clubs, with the added bonus of lower salary expectations and no impact on the quota spot positions accruing.

Here are five potential recruits from Super League that would improve the Robins in 2023.

With the likelihood that mercurial hooker Matt Parcell will be heading back to the NRL, Rovers are looking for a replacement hooker to partner up with Jez Litten from 2023. This year, Dwyer has been a visible standout for the Rhinos, with his darting runs and agility near the line becoming a real asset for the former Warrington man, something Rovers experienced in last Friday's defeat at Headingley.

New coach Rohan Smith will undoubtedly have a say in his future, but if Rovers are looking for a UK-based hooker to replace Parcell, Dwyer must be top of their list.
