The size of the challenge awaiting Manchester United and Erik ten Hag this forthcoming summer is enormous.

Now that a forgettable 2021/22 campaign is close to reaching its conclusion, United are already putting plans in place for what promises to be one of the most active transfer windows the club has faced in recent years.
