Five people charged in connection with murder of 17-year-old boy Callum Riley
Five people have been charged in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Heywood.
Callum Riley was found with serious injuries in the garden of a property on Atholl Drive in the early hours of Saturday, September 17 last year. He sadly died a short time later.
The coroner's record showed Callum's provisional cause of death as a stab wound. A murder probe was launched.

Greater Manchester Police said yesterday (June 21) five people were charged in connection with his murder. Tony Adams, 34, of Minshull New Road, Crewe, was charged with murder, section 18 assault, and criminal damage.
Dale Heywood, 25, of Windermere Road, Middleton, was charged with murder, section 18 assault and criminal damage. A 17-year-old boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was also charged with murder, section 18 assault and criminal damage.
Michelle Conaghan, 34, of Minshull New Road, Crewe, was charged with assisting an offender. Niomi Conaghan, 18, of Minshull New Road, Crewe was charged with assisting an offender.
All five suspects will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Thursday). Paying tribute to her son after his death, Callum's mother Tracy Marsland said: "Callum was extremely popular.
"I don't think you'll find anybody in Heywood that hasn't got something nice thing to say about him. He had a lovely heart and was fun and loving.
"He was good with me, caring and kind. He was a beautiful soul. I love him millions and miss him immeasurably."
