Fisher Jnr searches for elusive title: 'If I'm in contention, a win will come'

South African golfer Trevor Fisher Jnr is eager to continue his momentum and perform at this week's Steyn City Championship at The Club.

This week, the Sunshine Tour is co-sanctioning its second event on the DP World Tour as 156 golfers will vie for a prize fund of $1.5 million (R22.6 million).

It's the final chance for South African golfers to win their place on the DP World Tour and walks away with a handsome cheque.

Fisher Jnr's last win came back in 2015 at the then-European Tour event, the Africa Open and he is still hoping when the next win will come.

The 42-year-old acknowledges that it's not easy to win these days but looking to keep putting himself in the mix.

"My last win was in 2015, so it's been quite a while ago. I'm not
