First look inside newly-revamped Manchester hotel bringing 'Scandinavian living’ to city centre
A newly-refurbished hotel will be opening in Manchester this Spring - which intents to bring ‘Scandinavian living’ to the city centre.
The Park Inn by Radisson hotel, situated on Cheetham Hill Road across from Manchester Victoria station and the AO Arena, has been rebranded to the newly-named Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre. Marking the first Radisson hotel property in the city centre, which will complement the brand's Manchester portfolio including the Radisson Blu offering at Manchester Airport and Radisson Collection Hotel’s The Edwardian, the venue aims to be a ‘fresh’ and ‘stylish’ place for people to visit and rest up.
All 252 guest rooms and suites have been revamped with a ‘clean and modern’ Scandinavian-inspired design which focuses on balance, wellbeing and providing a calming environment with neutral tones and natural design elements. Radisson said the project has received a multi-million-pound investment.
Amongst its spaces, there will be family-sized rooms which will include two double beds, alongside an abundance of open-plan areas designed for socialising and relaxing. On-site, there is also a gym, a beauty spa, an indoor heated pool, sauna and a steam room.
The hotel has also been adapted to be used for events and conferences - with state-of-the-art facilities offering a capacity of up to 220 attendees. The hotel has also been revamped with sustainability in mind and features a number of energy-efficient systems.
Jens Brandin, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, said: “We are extremely excited to introduce the Radisson brand to this vibrant and buzzing city.
“Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination where guests can relax,
