First Kill cast: Who is in the Netflix vampire romance and where you have seen them before?

When a teenage vampire and a vampire hunter fall for each other at school, things are bound to get complicated. First Kill is a new teen drama streaming on Netflix based on the LGBTQ+ short story by Victoria Schwab.

The eight-part series follows Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Calliope (Imani Lewis) as they prepare to reach maturity and make their respective first kills. But will their blossoming romance get in the way?

First Kill is rated 15 for violence and injury detail. Each episode runs between 40 and 60 minutes and is available to stream on Netflix from today (June 10).

Sarah Catherine Hook – Juliette Fairmont

Teenage vampire Juliette is played bySarah Catherine Hook. The actor's previous film and television roles include Catherine Allday Davis in Impeachment: An American Crime Story, Elena Milak in Monsterland and Debbie Glatzel in The Conjuring 3.

"What we love more than anything about this show is that their queerness was normal", she told PopSugar ahead of the release of First Kill. "So I'm very excited for queer audiences to see themselves in these characters."

Imani Lewis – Calliope Burns

Imani Lewis plays vampire hunter Calliope Burns. Among her previous roles is Aniyah in Eighth Grade, Charmaine in Hightown and Kisha Griffin in The Equalizer.

She told the New York Post : "I immediately fell in love with the story of the show in general. I love strong female characters, I love powerful calculated confident characters, and for her to be from a family of monster hunters, I was like, ‘I have to be part of it'."
