First Division: Galway United win again, Waterford FC come from behind to beat Bray Waterford

Galway United made it 11 wins from 11 in the SSE Airtricity First Division after a 1-0 win over Cobh Ramblers at Eamon Deacy Park.

Vincent Russell Borden struck on 50 minutes to ensure that John Caulfield's kept their 100% record.

Second-place Waterford came from behind to defeat Bray Wanderers 2-1 at the Carlisle Grounds. The in-form Ronan Coughlan fired a second-half brace, with goals on 55 and 75 to wipe out the lead hosts had after Cole Omorehiomwan gave them the lead on three minutes.

Bray's cause wasn't helped by the dismissal of Max Murphy after a second yellow on 52 minutes.

A Frantz Pierrot hat-trick saw Athlone Town record an impressive 3-0 victory at home to Wexford FC - the goals came on 25, 39 and 77 minutes.

Finn Harps and Longford Town shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw at Finn Park.

Filip Da Silva had the hosts in front on 35 before Aodh Dervin levelled three minutes before the break.

Kerry FC are still waiting for a first win and they ended up on the receiving end of a 4-0 thrashing away to Treaty United.

Success Edogun helped himself to a first-half brace, with Dean George and Ben O'Riordan also on the scoresheet for the hosts.
