First Division: Galway United strike late to earn draw against Waterford
Francely Lomboto struck in the 90th minute to earn First Division leaders Galway United a share of the spoils against Waterford FC at the RSC.
In this clash of the top two, Ronan Coughlan hit a brace for the hosts either side of Killian Brouder netting for John Caulfield's side.
The three points looked to be heading Suirside until Lomboto's late intervention.
Galway continue to lead the standings by 16 points; Waterford do have a game in hand and also have played a game less than Cobh Ramblers in third, who conceded twice late on in a 3-3 draw at home to Bray Wanderers.
Jack Doherty fired Cobh in front on three minutes, but Dane Massey levelled on the half hour. A double from Wilson Waweru looked like securing the points for Ramblers, however Bray responded through Ben Feeney and then Guillermo Almirall in the 90th minute to earn parity.
Kerry FC are still waiting for their second win of the season after a 3-2 defeat away to Wexford FC. A double from Kennedy Amechi has them 2-0 up by the half hour, but the Wexford response was swift. Ethan Boyle pulled one back on 61, with Aaron Dibbs levelling on 78 and then Danny Furlong hitting the winner two minutes later.
Elsewhere Treaty United's long trip north yelded maximum points as a Dean George goal gave them a 1-0 win at Finn Harps.
