Fiorentina slammed for leaving Hearts dressing room mess after Europa Conference League win

Fiorentina have been branded classless after a video was shared of a messy away dressing room at Tynecastle following the Italian side’s Europa Conference League win in Edinburgh.

The Serie A outfit strolled to a 3-0 win against the 10-man Jambos but if they showed their class on the park then the Italian side were anything but off it judging by the social media footage. A clip shows debris strewn all over the floor and on the benches in the changing area. One Hearts fan shared the video on Twitter and wrote: This was the state of the away dressing room after the game last night…stay classy Fiorentina.”

It was a sobering night for Robbie Neilson's side as they hopes of reaching the knockout round were dealt a blow. However, they have the chance for revenge when they head to Florence next week where a victory for the Jambos would see them leapfrog Fiorentina in Group A.

And La Viola boss Vincenzo Italiano reckons there will be no stopping his side now they're up and running following their first win in the section. Fiorentina had only one won game from their previous ten outings prior to heading to Tynecastle but Italiano hopes the win over Hearts can kickstart their season.

He said: "It's only the beginning and anything can happen, although I know it's not easy. I hope that now we can continue to grow and confirm this performance every week. A negative result on Thursday could have compromised everything. We started slowly against Riga, so we had to perform. I hope this win can set the pattern for the future.”
