Final Fantasy 14 Island Sanctuary and 6.8 details have been revealed

Finally, Square Enix has provided information on what players may anticipate from the impending Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.2.

Director and producer Naoki Yoshida and his team revealed the finer details of the eagerly awaited patch as well as the Island Sanctuary feature at the most recent Live Letter 71 aired on 1st July 2022.

It has been announced that Buried Memory, the substitute, will be released in late August. The pre-patch 6.18, on the other hand, will debut this week on 5 July 2022 and include new, previously unreleased worlds and Data Center Travel.

Regarding the main patch’s actual content, 6.2 will keep adding new sidequests for Tataru’s Grand Endeavor along with its new Main Scenario missions.

Island Sanctuary, which has been in development since before the release of Endwalker in December, is sort of a new sports mode. It will let players to create and control their island where they may cultivate a farm, take care of animals, and enjoy a more relaxed solitary experience.

They will also be able to cultivate crops, build structures, gather items from the environment, and release their collection of Minions to wander the island at will. A brand-new category of manufacturing goods called “handicrafts” enables players to produce items that they can then sell for new, island-specific foreign currency.

Gamers will be able to invite one another to their separate islands, Yoshida further said. A patch 6.2 Live Letter will include further information.

The Fell Court of Troia, a hidden Trial, and Pandaemonium: Abyssos and Abyssos, two additional Savage raids, can all be added in addition to the two major bulletins.
