Film show: From Casablanca to Blade Runner, Warner Brothers turns 100
France's passion for bringing old films back into theatres is also on display this week with the re-release of the restored works of groundbreaking French writer and director Jean Eustache. We take a look at his film "The Mother and the Whore", which is about a messy Parisian love triangle in the wake of the sexual revolution and scandalised Cannes 50 years ago.
And finally, Lisa tells us about "The Island" from Romanian animator Anca Damian. Described as an "upside-down Robinson Crusoe", this semi-musical "washes over you in layers of inventive delight" while treating down-to-earth themes including a subtext about the treatment of refugees.
