FIFA 23: Five substitutions now allowed & all other new rule changes
The deep dive gameplay trailer has just been released for FIFA 23 and with it, there have been some rule changes within the game – including the ability to make five substitutions. Here we have all the information you need to know about it.
The new 11-minute-long trailer has highlighted some of the fantastic new gameplay changes that have been implemented for FIFA 23. We now know more about the new HyperMotion2 technology within the game, the redesigned set pieces and much more – so it’s certainly an exciting time to be a FIFA fan.
But something that was added at the back end of the trailer was some of the new rules that have been implemented into the game, with one of the most exciting and game-changing is now the ability to make five substitutions, instead of the usual three that has been apparent in previous FIFA titles.
