Can you delete your club in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team?

We’ve all been there. You’ve just conceded a 90th-minute winner to Timo Werner in FUT Champions, subsequently leading to submitting your entire team into an SBC where you have received… absolutely nothing.

You’re finished with FIFA, it’s time to delete your club. But the question is, on the new title of FIFA 23, can you actually delete your club?

The short answer is no – you can no longer delete your club in FIFA Ultimate Team, which is the first time this has ever been apparent in a FIFA Ultimate Team title.

There have been numerous changes to how you can delete your clubs in previous FIFAs. For example, a limit of five accounts could be made in the likes of FIFA 22 and FIFA 21, to stop players from consistently deleting accounts to obtain better starter packs.

But now the feature has been removed for good, and we think we know the reason why.

So although unconfirmed by EA themselves, the reason why the feature of being able to delete your club in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team has been removed is that players we’re making ‘SBC accounts’, where they would simply complete the starter SBCs, sell all the players and then transfer the coins to their main account – which is against EAs rules.

Some would argue that you could just simply make more accounts and then use these to do the same strategy, however, EA have also put a stop to this by making all rewards obtained via the starter SBCs
