FIFA 22: La Liga POTM Nominees Announced

Another month has passed in the life cycle of FIFA 22, which means Player of the Month cards will be hitting the Squad Building Challenge section once again very soon.

The La Liga POTM has been a very popular one this year for FIFA players. We’ve enjoyed the likes of Joao Felix, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema so far during this year’s campaign, and we’re about to get another face joining them as the nominees have just been announced.

This will be the penultimate POTM award for La Liga, so fans will be hoping for someone special amongst the nominee picks.

Let’s have a look at some of the front runners and the months they’ve had over in Spain.

Jose Luis Morales

Levante’s Spanish striker has been in absolutely electric form in the month of April with five goals and three assists – achieving this in just 370 minutes of football. That’s impressive.

Statistically speaking, that should be enough to secure the award, but this is FIFA and with better cards looming – there are other options that may have a better chance.

Karim Benzema

A man who is having the absolute season of his life. Karim Benzema has been nominated for the POTM once again, and we wouldn’t be shocked if he scooped it up for a second time during this campaign.

Benzema has three goals this month, which is quite tame for him. Knowing FIFA voters, they’ll vote based on what card they’ll get in-game – so don’t be surprised if we see a Benzema card on
