(CNN)The Formula One season is only five races old, but it already has a different complexion compared to previous years.

That's largely due to the contrasting fortunes of two teams — the resurgence of Ferrari and the struggles of Mercedes — making the outcome of this year's championship impossible to call. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc currently leads the driver standings, 19 points ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who claimed his third win of the season at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.
