Felix Roussel claims gold in 3-medal day for Canada at short track World Tour
A day after winning four medals, the Canadian short track team skated to three more podium appearance at the World Tour stop on Sunday in Beijing.
Felix Roussel, of Sherbrooke, Que., won gold in the men's 1,000-metre final. Roussel crossed the line in one minute, 25.352 seconds.
Fellow Canadian William Dandjinou, of Montreal, finished just off the podium in the 1,000, ending up fourth in a time of 1:25.773.

Roussel of Sherbrooke, Que., claims World Cup short track speed skating gold medal
On the women's side, Florence Brunelle and Rikki Doak took silver and bronze, respectively, in the women's 500m final.
Dutch skater Xandra Velzeboer took gold in the distance with a time of 42.078.
Brunelle, of Trois-Rivières, Que., finished in 42.202 while Fredericton's Doak crossed the finish line in 42.696.
