Fantasy Premier League 2023/24 prices confirmed as Erling Haaland tops list

Erling Haaland has been confirmed as the the most expensive asset in Fantasy Premier League ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.

The Manchester City forward dominated the game last season, amassing a staggering 272 points through his impressive tally of 36 goals and nine assists. Boasting an average of over seven points per start, Haaland's value has skyrocketed from £11.5m to a record-equalling £14m, joining the ranks of football legends Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite his significant price hike, Haaland remains an indispensable pick for managers due to City's favorable start to the Premier League season, reports the Mirror. The defending champions kick off their campaign on August 11 against newly-promoted Burnley, followed by fixtures against Newcastle, Sheffield United, Fulham, West Ham, and Nottingham Forest, as they aim for a fourth consecutive title.

FPL also revealed the price of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, who sees a slight decrease to £12.5m from his previous starting value. Finishing 33 points behind Haaland last season, Salah scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists, reaffirming his status as a key asset for FPL managers.

With his knack for penalties and set pieces, Fernandes is expected to be an integral asset for many teams. United's opening fixtures against Wolves and Nottingham Forest at home, along with a trip to Tottenham, bode well for his potential
