Fantasy book fans gush over 'best book dedication ever' in viral ACOTAR series

The fantasy series A Court of Thorns and Roses has become a major topic of conversation on social media lately – though there's a charming detail many fans missed during their first read.

Written by American author Sarah J. Maas, the five-book series follows Feyre Archeron, a huntress who becomes entangled in the magical world of Prythian. Brimming with romance, intrigue, politics, and adventure, Feyre’s story becomes more intricate as the plot unfolds.

While these elements initially drew readers in, there’s one overlooked feature that has recently caught attention: the book’s dedication. Samah, a sharp-eyed fan who posts under the username @samahsdiary, shared the heartwarming dedication with fellow readers on social media.

In a clip that’s garnered more than 285,000 likes, she highlighted the message on the dedication page: "To the readers who look up at the stars and wish." Samah enthusiastically declared it:

"The best book dedication I have ever read," and added in her caption, "My heart DIED reading this." The dedication can be found in A Court of Frost and Starlight, the fourth book in the series.

BookTok fans quickly flooded the comments, sharing their love for the series, which has become a global phenomenon. One user wrote, "I love dedications," while another said, "The BEST book series."

A third commented, "That’s so cute," and another added, "This makes me so emotional. I fell out of love with reading, but now I want to return to Prythian and feel that joy again."

The first book, A Court of Thorns and Roses, was published in 2015, with the fifth and latest installment released in 2021. The series has gained massive popularity on TikTok and is widely praised by fantasy readers as one of the genre’s best.
