Bruce Springsteen fans fume as 2025 tour pre-sale for Co-op Live shows called ‘chaos’ and ‘pointless’

Bruce Springsteen fans were given the first chance this morning to secure tickets to see the legendary singer on tour when he comes to Manchester next year.

Announced last week, the American superstar, who is known for songs including Born In The USA and Dancing In The Dark, revealed he would be performing two huge shows at Co-op Live on May 17 and 20, 2025, alongside a date at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium in June.

Whilst general access to tickets doesn’t begin until Friday (October 11), some fans who have signed up for early access have been able to take part in a number of pre-sales this morning. However, some have found it more difficult than others to secure tickets.

As the two Manchester shows are being held at Co-op Live, one of the pre-sales has been open to Co-operative Members through the Co-op app. But posting on social media, a number of people have shared screenshots of the app not loading the ticket page.

One person posted: “Please explain why I can't select anything?” Another said: “Nothing works...." Another, sharing an image of the blank screen, wrote: “But all I see is this. Maybe sort the tech out before you release the tickets?”

Another said: “Trying to buy Bruce Springsteen tickets through Co Op pre-sale but I only have 1/4 of the page showing - please help! So frustrating.”

One person posted of the pre-sale: “It is chaos. Cannot get anywhere with your app or ticketmaster. Just circle going round and round. Went to trouble of registering with you and installing app, just pointless.”
