Fans Still Can't Believe Cristiano Ronaldo Agreed To Take Part In 'Shopee' Advert

Singapore-based e-commerce portal 'Shopee' may have splashed the cash on this one but it left plenty of fans scratching their heads. Check out the bizarre commercial below.

He then looks at the crowd, who are too busy browsing the 'Shopee' mobile app to care about one of the greatest of all time netting a screamer from range.

The referee then brandishes his very own 'Shopee' card in an Oscar-winning performance before CR7 bursts into song to the classic "Baby Shark" theme.

Despite the clip being three years old, Ronaldo's antics in the commericial have gone viral again in recent days.

One Twitter user wrote: "I’m sure the fact that the script has him scoring from a free-kick was enough to convince him," while another said: "This gets more crazy to me every time I watch it."

A third posted another clip of Ronaldo signing happy birthday to Shopee in another bizarre moment.

The 37-year-old loves a good advert, and this parody of the 1990 classic Home Alone, created by Meo, is one of the best.

The clip includes that iconic aftershave scene in the bathroom, not to mention Cristiano's verision of "I wish you a Merry Christmas" before frightening off a pizza guy with the same technique Kevin famously used on the burglars. Check it out below.
