Fans react to Netflix's latest Selling Sunset spin-off, Selling The City set in New York
Netflix has expanded its reality real estate empire with the arrival of Selling The City, a new spin-off following the footsteps of Selling Sunset and Selling the OC.
The latest series introduces viewers to a new group of ambitious real estate agents amidst the backdrop of New York City's iconic skyline. With the same mix of drama and breathtaking properties, Selling The City takes us into the heart of The Big Apple.
All eight episodes dropped on Netflix on Friday (January 3), and audience reactions have been steadily pouring in for this new show.
The show has sparked a debate among fans, who took to Reddit to voice their thoughts.
One viewer was less than enthused, stating: "I would say it's a no for me. I don't even know any of these cast members to even care about their drama.", reports the Mirror.
"Selling Sunset worked as the first season did focus on the real estate business and with each season want more into the personal lives of the 'stars.' I don't think many of these shows get that why Selling Sunset was successful."
Another dissatisfied fan remarked: "Nope! I'm sticking with Owning Manhattan! The cast is awful! ".
On the flip side, there were those who thoroughly enjoyed the new series, with one person exclaiming: "This show was so much better than I expected it to be. Binged it all in one day."
Another added: "That ending was hilarious. Pretty clever to end the season with that. Once the US is awake hopefully there are going to be some hilarious takes and lots of tea! ".
And a third chimed in: "Just finishing this, omg the drama at the end was SOO good."
The main cast features newcomers to the reality TV scene, including Abigail Godfrey, Eleonora Srugo, Giselle Meneses Nunez, Jade Chan, Jordyn Taylor and
