Fans rate Newcastle United player performances v Mainz with Sven Botman impressing

Summer signing Sven Botman was the standout performer for Newcastle United fans in our post-match ratings survey. The Dutch defender impressed on his first start for the Magpies, despite them suffering a , as he received a solid 7.7 rating out of 10 from supporters.

Bruno Guimaraes earned second spot (7.5), while the exciting youngster Elliot Anderson (7.4) and Joelinton (7.2) were also given respectable scores. Newcastle fans were less impressed with Jacob Murphy (4.7) and Chris Wood (4.5), while Ryan Fraser and Matt Ritchie both received a 5.1 rating.
