Fans praise Lady Gaga for 'sweet and humble' gesture towards red carpet photographer

Lady Gaga has been praised by fans on social media for running to help a photographer her tripped as he was taking pictures on the red carpet at the Oscars. Gaga fans have called the superstar ‘queen of kindness’ after her caring act was caught on camera during the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night.

The singer was nominated at last night’s Academy Awards for Best Original Song for ‘Hold My Hand’ which featured in ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. She co-wrote the song with BloodPop who is famously known for writing and producing songs for artists such as Lily Allen, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Madonna, and John Legend.

While Gaga failed to scoop the award, the ‘A Star Is Born’ actress is the talk of social media as she helped Chris Polk, a snapper to the stars, up off the ground after he fell.

It appears that the photographer fell down or tripped on Gaga’s sheer, black, Versace gown.

The photographer shared the moment the ‘Born This Way’ singer rushed to his side to help him up off the controversial champagne coloured carpet on his Instagram Story, where he wrote: “Thanks Gaga for helping me up!”

The video shows the 36-year-old star, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, asking the photographer “Are you okay?”, before continuing into the LA ceremony held in the Dolby Theatre.

Her fans took to social media to highlight the star’s kindness after witnessing the carpet mishap.

“Notice how she didn't even think about it, it was in her reflex to help him, she's just genuinely sweet and kind,” BraveForGaga95 wrote.

Kalen tweeted: “The way people react speaks volumes about who they are at their core.”
