Fans have their say! Strongest available teams picked for Carling Cup spectacle
Carling Black Label Cup organisers have announced the four starting line-ups for the upcoming games on Saturday.
Teams were put together via a public vote, with supporters picking strongest available teams.
Captain selections will follow.
AmaZulu will host Mamelodi Sundowns at 09:30 in the first semi-final, while Kaizer Chiefs will face arch-rivals Orlando Pirates at 12:00 in the second semi-final.
The final will take place at 17:00 with all matches being played at FNB Stadium.
There are not many surprises as star players such as Monnapule Saleng and Kgaogelo Sekgota all chosen.
However, there are notable absentees such as Kaizer Chiefs forward Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana, Sundowns marksman Peter Shaluile, AmaZulu striker Bonginkosi Ntuli as well as Buccaneers midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch, who all had to withdraw for various reasons.
